About
I will try to make it short and sweet.
My interest in sound and production comes from being in studios since I was about 15 with the bands
I have been apart of over the years; from Dozer to Greenleaf
to Demon Cleaner to current musical
endeavors in The Old Wind / TOW, Vaka and A Swarm Of The Sun.
To step up my game I decided to study audio engineering at The SAE Institute in Solna, Sweden,
from where I graduated with flying colors.
What I do and how I do it
My main focus is to record, mix, produce and master.
Being freelance in this line of work means I will, with the band / artist, decide on what recording facility is best suited
for the type of album we want to make, taking budget into account.
When it is time to mix and / or
master the material I usually work out of my own Tri-Lamb Studio,
as I am highly accustomed to the
sonics of the room. The upside of working this way is that, besides being favorable to the end result,
it is cost efficient.
Past experience and preferences
Studios I have worked in include Soundtrade Studios,
Studio Gröndahl, Kingside Studios and Studio Riddarborgen
among others. All of these are high-end studios with analog consoles at the core and house the finest in audio equipment,
including gear by NEVE, SSL, API, Neumann, Telefunken,
Coles and Earthworks just to name a few.
